I found out that Starbucks pays you ONLY Rm3.50 per hour, something like 1USD per hour. It’s like OMG! That is VERY low in terms of working in KL. People usually pay RM5 per hour or more. I’m so NOT going to consider working part time in Starbucks!

Staying with family makes me feel too much at home and home usually equals procrastinating and bumming. This is not good. Home also equals to doing housework. Worst of all I spend more time doing housework than doing my assignments! It is really funny that I live with such irresponsible people all these while. They don’t care if the rubbish bin can’t fit anymore trash, they don’t bother checking if there are any doors not closed and locked before going to sleep, nor do they turn off all the unused switches. They don’t even put things back from where they belong after using it for heaven’s sake! Because I stay at home most of the time, I will be the one being nagged by my uncle when he comes back to see that the house is in a mess. You guys know how much I detest being nagged/scolded/shouted at/called names for something I DIDN’T DO. If you nag the person who caused it, oh, I’m going to be the one at fault. Just awesome, isn’t it? I just wish that some people who supposedly look more mature than me would be less childish and more responsible. Yea, I'm the one who has a short temper, complains hell of a lot and the bitchy one. You stay in this house too, why does it make me MORE responsible than you are around here, just because I stay longer at home? I'm sorry, I don't happen the be able to go out from this house once I'm back in it. You have the same amount of responsibility in this hosue as I do! Why don't you shoulder it once in a while?

On other notes, my mother is arriving later today. If I am grumpier, please don’t mind me, unnecessary stress is what I usually get around here. It's even worst when a parent is here and that one turns into a know-it-all and starts questioning me things that I do as I was told to do.

Is anyone having trouble opening NuTang at certain times of the day? Or sometimes it just go "page unable to be opened" on you when it was working fine a minute ago.

My Monday introductory economics class has been changed to Tuesdays, and the earlier study skills class ended! So now, I officially, don’t have Monday classes!! Now I have long weekend, every weekend for the next 3 months! Yay!! Maybe there’ll still that one class on the 15th, but anything which doesn’t include a 5 hour break would be just awesome! Now I’m crossing my fingers on my Friday class. If it gets changed to Wednesday afternoon, I don’t mind, as long as I get Mondays and Fridays off, I don’t quite mind. Then I could go find a part time job where I only work on Saturdays and Sundays. I’m not picky, I just hope that the pay is reasonable, any suggestions?

My little surprise (you could also say that it is a prank) didn’t make it, Kaede is not as lucky as I thought she is, well, never mind.... I need to think of something else. Hey Niniek! Have fun on your little date with Kah Loon!

There is something wrong with my internet browser or something today. I kept on getting that “IE can’t display webpage” thing. I restarted my connection at first, cause I couldn’t sign into MSN. After that, when I could, the only problem is that websites can’t open. I have to restart my laptop after this it might be because of the laptop. I have a few assignments due next week. I should start doing it later, tomorrow maybe. I need to read some notes and head to bed early because tomorrow is Friday.

I want to finish reading my book about the Knights of Templar... they are they interesting side of Christianity that I don’t mind like reading about. I’ve been trying to finish the book but things just come up. It is one interesting book.

I want to blog but I don’t know what to blog about because my days are always consisting of wake up, travel to campus, classes, travel back from campus, eat while watching TV, reading comics and chatting, sleep. It’s so mundane that there is nothing special about it worth blogging about.

Since I want to blog, I’ll blog about the random things I hear from people around me.

I heard that Proton cars are considered as quite a high end car in Australia. They give it away in Wheel of Fortune. I mean, Wheel of Fortune is a really, really old game show and Proton, is not Malaysian’s first choice car around. Most Malaysians would rather buy imported cars than Proton because the quality sucks big time! During accidents, Proton cars would make the accidents look like it’s some major accident because they bonnet would be three quarters of its size original size after the crash while other cars would just have a like a dented bumper. I was also told that the quality of the car is way better over there. Any Australian ‘Tangers want to confirm that? I just got a "no, that is not the case, they're just rarely seen around here" from a friend who is currently over there.

Lately, I’ve been thinking of what to get people as a birthday present. It can be really hard, especially when you can’t possibly give the person what they want because their parents could get them what they want most of the time. I have 3 important birthdays coming up and my brain is drawing a blank on what to give them. Should I just give them a bar of chocolate? Should give them a bottle of my favourite hand cream? It’s just so hard! Their birthdays are like 2 to 3 weeks apart from each other, although not days apart, still buying anyone of them an expensive present would mean that the others won’t get any. I doubt Estrella would mind it if I just say “hey, I’m broke, so my present to you this year is a big hug from me” but I just don’t feel nice about it. Even if I have a rough idea on what to get Estrella, I have no idea what to get for the other two.

I won’t have Monday or Wednesday morning class anymore in a couple weeks time. It is both a blessing and a disaster! How I wish all my classes are in the morning and I could spend the afternoon doing just about everything else instead of having them in the afternoon. Okay, I have to do some reading and then head to bed because tomorrow is Wednesday! Take care!!

It struck me that I will NOT be having anything called “summer break” like most of my friends will. This means that my holidays are definitely for lazing around doing nothing. Sean and Max only have 2 semesters a year with a 4 month holiday. When they are back, I am studying, when they are studying, I am also studying. I think I am going to have some more problems in a few months time. Still, the prospect that I might be graduating before, at the same time or a little while after them is really nice because they started university about 6 months before me. So now I need to find a job which allows me to have flexible working hours.

Who would’ve thought that being a returning student to your university/college would be much more complicated than being a new student?
I had to wait for like an hour for the lady at the school of business and law to sort out my tuition fee, cause she know nothing about handling returning students (by returning I mean took a diploma in the college now pursuing a degree in the university, which is basically the same campus).

I had to do my student card again. I had to apply for a new novel account user name so that I can use the WIFI and the campus computers. With that I assumed that I need to do my library card again. I was SO WRONG! All I need to do is to waltz into the library, give them my card and my tuition receipt and voila! It’s done! I waited like a week because they didn’t have anything about returning students and library cards on the website. Seriously, it’s awful!

Multitasking is fun but it could be distracting at times. Yet, while you need to rephrase sentences which are already really simple, the distraction is really helpful. Assignments have reared their ugly heads, one of them sounds much harder than the rest. Have to get things done as soon as possible. Don’t want to screw up first semester of university although I don’t quite like it. Looks like some things are really unavoidable.

I just heard from a friend in Aussie that Starbucks, Sushi King and Kenny Roger’s opened in my hometown. It is a major WTF for me because hey, my hometown is for old people. Now that I’m finding for a job over here, I am having trouble but when I was finding for a job over there, it sucked. Meh! God is really asking me to just sit back and relax while my parents are now asking me to get a part time job. Still, when my friends and I go back, I think we’d enjoy it better going back to where we used to hang out when we were back in high school. I hope I’d be able to join then when they’re back. My schedule is a little tight. I’d love to love to bet that the places will last a couple of years max, but sometimes, you have no idea what the western culture will do to society. What people’s assumption of what is cool will do. I should head down to the nearest starbucks to enquire if they're hiring anyone there. I'm lazy to go down to KL to find out that I can't get a place there.

I’ll be taking care of my aunt’s friend’s dog for two days starting Wednesday. Hope I don’t kill the poor fella.

1. I never have any ideas on what to write for tags. Everything’s sort of ambiguous.

2. Aaron asked me just now, “Why do you like comics? What attracts you to comics?” Seriously, I didn’t know how to answer him because I don’t know what specifically that I like about comics. Maybe because some comics are informative while most others I read are funny. If no one is around to make me laugh, why don’t I make myself laugh, right?

3. I prefer to sit in front of my laptop because having cliques gives me problems at times. Still I love mixing around with different people because everyone teaches me something. I don’t mind mixing around with people 20 hours a day as long as they don’t create problems for me. I don’t mind listening to your whines, giving you advices or even pulling pranks, just don’t make me personalise the problem.

4. I think I was addicted to chocolates to the point that when I don’t get chocolates in a day, I’d be all moody and grumpy. I can go up to a month without chocolates now, which is good.

5. I’m not really good at debates because I get flushed really easily. My ears will be really red.

6. I like peace and quiet. Which is why I’m not good at debates, I rather let things go than to argue further if there is no point arguing. This is also why I prefer to be in front of my laptop.

7. I’m really happy that I am now closer to some of my friends. Some of them are able to read be better than before and I know them better than before.

8. I’m still quite tactless. I still speak on impulse. I still don’t realise that I might hurt someone’s with my words.

9. I hate it when someone calls me names when I try to explain a situation to them. I don’t like being blamed for something I didn’t do and I detest people who pick on others just because they are different from them.

10. The next book I want to buy is Mr Darcy’s Diary. I heard that Pride and Prejudice has a thick leather bound book instead of the thin re-edited versions in stores. I wonder how different they are. I don’t know why but I love that book so much but I don’t quite like other Jane Austin books.

11. I’m looking for a dress and a pair of boots. I’m going to get that “OMG do you have a boyfriend already now that you’re being more lady-like!” What’s wrong with preferring to wear jeans and t-shirts? I don’t like wearing skirts and dress on a daily basis because it’s annoying since you have to be aware of what you are doing and how you are sitting.

12. I prefer listening to Chinese songs when I’m upset. It’s probably because I have no idea what they are singing about and most of the time I have no idea why people would love to make me upset.

13. I have trouble with my spelling. My mother says that it is heredity.

14. I am at risk for heart attack, high blood pressure, diabetes and kidney problems.

I managed to do something today I’ve wanted to do since my birthday, which always end up getting postponed, that is to have a meal with my best friend. I went to visit her at her college since I need to wait for my uncle to be free to fetch me home. Although our colleges are so near but I rarely see her in person, just a 2-4 times a year. It was fun though I had to cut it short cause I had to go since my uncle’s free and she got to go back college anyway.

I got two more presents this week, one from Bubbles and another from my best friend. She says “Here, I give you some emergency supplies”, which meant that I got chocolates. Yes! Still I don’t quite want to eat it yet because she wrapped it so nicely. It is really for emergencies only. I put it in the fridge with the wrapper intact so that I’m not tempted to eat it. Though, I forgot to ask her for a hug... maybe next time.

I heard something in the car that I don’t think I should hear. It’s going to be hard; he can’t handle his own guilty conscience well. Don’t get sicker okay?
I went up to the third floor today and I heard Ali saying “CIMP’s pimping some of their hotties!” this even goes on every semester and when I walked past the board, I saw my friend’s picture there. The raffles’ this event where people sort of put their names down for a certain amount of money and then the people in the student council randomly draws out a name. Then they put the person’s name down to go out on a date with one of the people who is being “pimped”. I recalled another friend telling me that they managed to get him to do the raffles. I bet his blur-ness got him into this. LOL! One of them must’ve just went “Hey.. I’ll put your name down okay?” and he goes “uh..?? Ya.. Okay.” And after a few seconds, he’ll go “what? What?” I wonder how someone is going to cope with that fact... she always acts as if she owns him.

I need to go, renaye, I'll do your tag latest by this weekend, promise. I’m hoping to get that one assignment done and then sort of prepare for my short presentation tomorrow. Talking about assignments, the chances are slim for most ‘Tangers are students, are there any accountants around here?
